Volunteer
Salt City Harvest Farm welcomes the public to the farm during events, volunteer days, and through private group tours or workdays. At SCHF, we grow more than food. We also grow culture, community, and connection. The farm is home to a vibrant, multicultural community of farmers, volunteers, and neighbors, all sharing knowledge, traditions, and the love of the land.
Whether you're passionate about gardening, food justice, cultural exchange, or community building, there are many ways to get involved:
- Volunteer on the farm - help with planting, harvesting, seed saving, or general farm support. We also welcome volunteers with skills in communications, marketing, bookkeeping, event planning, and volunteer coordination.
- Join the Board of Directors or a committee - play a key role in shaping the vision, programs, and long-term strategy of Salt City Harvest Farm.
- Become a donor or sponsor - your support helps secure land access, sustain our programs, and grow opportunities for farmers and community members.
- Partner with us - collaborate on workshops, events, or markets to help expand access to fresh, culturally important foods.
- Host a private workday or group tour - bring your organization, students, of friends for a hands-on farm experience.
