What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. CSA members are key partner in helping us jump start our efforts in growing and distributing food throughout the community. CSA members pay an upfront cost at the beginning of the season and in exchange receive a weekly share of produce throughout the growing season. We offer 4 options of CSA shares. A large share, small share, and biweekly shares of each. The full CSA season runs 18 weeks from June to October and the biweekly share is 9 weeks. Each week CSA members will receive about $25-$35 (depending on share size) worth of produce grown by SCHF apprentices and incubator farmers.

Farmers at SCHF come from all over the world and our CSA shares will reflect that. At SCHF we grow the standard American crops as well as crops you won't find all the time at your local grocer. One week you might find tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions, next to bitter melons and daikon radish. If you'd like to swap out an item let us know ahead of time and we'll try our best to accommodate. That being said we encourage you to go beyond your comfort zone and explore the diversity of food. Inside each box you'll find delicious locally grown produce!
Your CSA share may include the following crops:
- In the late spring/early summer you'll find: Cilantro, Peas, Swiss Chard, Kale, Radishes, Lettuce, Salad Turnips, and other early season crops.
- Starting in mid-summer and into the fall you'll find: Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Peppers, Squashes, Eggplants, Beets, Carrots, Daikon Radish, Cabbages, Bitter Melon, Amaranth Greens, and so much more!
Cost: For 2025, a small share costs $450 (6-8 crops, $25 per week), and the full share costs $630 (8-12 crops, $35 per week). We also offer 9 week (biweekly) shares that are half the cost of the full 18 week shares. In an effort to make nutritious, local food available to as many community members as possible, we offer discounted prices for all shares. Everyone's financial situation is different and we trust you to assess your own situation. - At the farm: Wednesdays 3:30pm to 6pm
- Interfaith Works of CNY parking lot:
Thursdays 3:30pm- 4:30pm - Mission Hope Community Church, Camillus: Thursdays 5:00pm - 6:00pm
- CNY Regional Market:
Saturdays 7:30am to 12:30pm
